TRENTON, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — New Jersey legislators are working at an almost record pace to get a recreational marijuana bill drawn up for a vote. In fact, maybe a little too fast.
As they rework the bill, one proposed change took the New Jersey Business and Industry Association by surprise. Provisions to protect an employer’s right to ban marijuana in the workplace, which were in the original legislation, were gone.
