Some marijuana cases to be dismissed due to new law

ADRIAN — As Michigan moves into the era of legalized recreational marijuana today, local law enforcement officials are looking at how they will handle pending pot possession cases.

Those are cases where someone was arrested for possession of marijuana before the new law went into affect but which have not had their cases resolved in court.
