Former Stampeder Roy Finch charged with kidnapping and domestic assault

Former Calgary Stampeders running back Roy Finch has been charged with kidnapping and domestic violence, just months after a highly publicized arrest in April 2018 where he was charged with three misdemeanour counts of marijuana possession, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer.

According to an Oklahoma City police report, Finch’s partner accused him of punching her two to three times and holding her in a hotel room against her will for 20 to 30 minutes on Jan. 2.
