High-level conflict: medical marijuana vs. drug-free workplace

NEWARK – Licking County employers, already struggling to find workers to fill open positions, face a new dilemma.

Do they change their drug-free workplace policy to hire or retain medical marijuana users?

There are many considerations, and ignoring the question should not be an option, according to Allison Sharer, trainer and consultant with Working Partners, a Canal Winchester-based company that collaborates with businesses primarily on drug-free workplace issues.
