Medical marijuana: Processing sites coming to Dayton, Clayton, Monroe

Five more local companies received provisional licenses on Wednesday to open medical marijuana processing facilities.

These facilities will processs medical marijuana into oils, edibles, patches and other permitted items.

The five — three in Dayton, one in Clayton and one in Monroe – join another regional processor in Enon that received approval during the first round of state licensing.

Disqualified was Cresco Labs Ohio, LLC, which sought to open a vertically-integrated processing facility alongside its Yellow Springs grow operation that produced its first harvest last month.
