The Ohio Medical Marijuana Program’s patient and caregiver registry opened Monday.
People with qualifying conditions for medical marijuana can register to receive marijuana products, said Grant Miller, education and outreach coordinator for the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. Miller said the registry opened Monday with the expectation that a good portion of the marijuana dispensaries, cultivators and processors will be operational within 60 days.
“The patient registration is a key part of the program, and therefore it really has to come before anyone is able to visit any licensed entity or byproduct,” he said.
