Butler County village removes medical marijuana ban

The village of Seven Mile recently voted to lift its temporary ban on medical marijuana and put in place rules to regulate a marijuana dispensary that has been approved for the tiny hamlet.

The village’s attorney Kyle Rapier said the council enacted a nine-month moratorium in June after it learned 127 OH, LLC was state-approved to locate a facility there.

“We didn’t want a dispensary coming in and beginning to operate without us adopting our rules and regulations,” Rapier told the Journal-News. “That was the whole point.”
