Shrewsbury selectmen split on recreational marijuana sales

SHREWSBURY – Selectmen Tuesday night decided against holding a special town meeting after the board became deadlocked on what to do about retail recreational marijuana.

The board had earlier considered putting two articles before a special town meeting on March 8. One article would be to ban the retail sale of recreational marijuana; another would allow and regulate it.
