HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection opened registration on September 1st for a program that allows minors with select medical conditions to access medical marijuana.

Beginning on October 1st, Public Act 16-23 will allow minors with select, severe debilitating medical conditions to access medical marijuana. The Department of Consumer Protection opened its registration system for those patients so that they can be fully registered by October 1st, and be able to immediately access the medication they seriously need.
